Yes I would take that interpretation to be correct, and find that there is no stated requirement for a brake light.

That's why we gather up a group of people and all go together. Then it's guaranteed to be a moped event. Duh.

Cool, thanks! I also want two little piaggio hex emblems for the front of both our vespa ciao frames, they are both pealed off. I was just talking about that yesterday.

Haha, yeah I suffered many of hours with the Moby ignition, but it's not as hard as everyone thinks.  The 36O timing makes things weird, but once you get it dialed in you are set.  Once finally get it I suggest pulling the flywheel back off and making a small "timing
mark" on the end of the crank and the cam, then if it does slip on you then it's easy to trouble shoot.  I do use a proper puller.  I've used a claw hammer to get them off but obviously its not the way to go.  Just as long as you don't fuck that cam you should be fine.

That does help, I have most of the info printed up off the wiki on MA.  Doesn't look too hard.
I am just hoping to lure someone like yourself over with beer- that has done it before to make the process super smooth.
I have good blue spark, fuel, it wants to run but won't.  The timing Marks are not aligned with the angle of the cylinder so this should be it.  But the wiring is sort of old and decrepid anyway so hardwiring seemed to be a good idea.
Do you use a 2-arm puller on the cam and beat it back on w/ a block of wood and hammer or do you have fancy tools?

scooterworks.com of chicago.

Only issue with those guys is that they list everything by the vespa scooter it fits on, so you need to take a chance or give them a call.  Positive is that the stuff is top-notch quality and reasonably affordable.

For example, I got a pair of those always-missing Piaggio Hex emblems for my cargo boxes for only $2.50 each!

The bike has more of a cafe racer feel to it.
  Thanks for the encouragement sidecovers.
If I get around to it I will post some of my sculptures.
