Idle jets are 2 bucks cheaper on treats.  I don't know about the mains, but you might wanna order them from Treats.

Yeah,  but Treats you'll get them by Friday.  1977 you'll get them by Halloween.

Only reason I am ordering from 1977 is because I need a new throttle assembly.  Treats is out.  Any suggestions?

That's what I have too, but I need the plastic tube insert part. Mine is all chewed up and it sticks.

Mike, unless you have another idea for a throttle, I am going to proceed with the 1977 order.

What a quandary!  I want to buy now!!! SPEND SPEND!

I have been trying to find some other aftermarket type throttle control, but nothing has jumped out at me. I haven't even found anything close. Maybe I am blind.

Do you really think 1977 will screw me on the delivery date?

I've been pondering on what to do about jets. I feel like we should try and buy a whole lot of them or something... anyone wanna keep their eyes pealed on Ebay for an old mans treasure chest of jets? I'd be down to spend 50-100 bucks on a crapload of various jets... we could all profit on that one, especially with jets costing 2.75 a piece.

The piece that I need is the plastic tube part that the grip itself fits over, then the whole piece slides over the handle bar.  This is the piece that the cable actually attaches to.

Nobody ships as fast as treats. They were out of the jets I needed so I had to go to 1977, and I placed an order with treats the same day. That was thursday and my treats order showed up today, who knows when my 1977 order will come.

77 hasn't done me wrong yet, the shipping is slower than treats, but i still got all my parts in a timely fashion.

as for a throttle assembly, talk to Malaguti, there are "twist n go" options out there, similar to dirt bike and mXc throttles.

some options: http://www.cyclewareables.com/pages/street_mototcycle_throttle_sleeves/throttlesleeve.htm
a couple of cheap options... http://www.partsforscooters.com/Vehicle-Type/X7-OEM-2-stroke?range=1%2C20%2C48

i think it's a "knarp"... damn, i wish i had seen this thread earlier. i just ordered a honda pipe from treats today. i guess i should get in the habit of posting when i order parts, albeit a rare occurance, but possibly helpful nonetheless.

soon, i will need jets :)

I was about to place an order for some parts, but I hesitated because of all the talk about how 1977 ships slowly.

How long would it take for you to ship:

a handful of jets (dell 86-104)
pedals
a sprocket
pull choke
throttle assembly

I have heard lots of horror stories so I just thought I would ask before I hit confirm.

we ship within a day of the order being placed, shipping to the east coast takes just about 5 days, if you are closer then shipping is fast.  we were undergoing a large warehouse move in late 2008 and our shipping suffered slightly during that time but all problems have been resolved and shipping is 100% back in action!

hope that helps!

I still love me some Treats.  I have yet to experience 1977.  I am excited about the idle jet.  The bike needs it bad.

Their excuse for "Late 2008" doesn't do much for why it took them till May '08 to ship me shit I ordered in December '07.  Or why I'm still missing parts I ordered in April '08.

Fuck 1977 with a hot simonini.

I agree Mike. I checked the order I placed with 1977, will be here tomorrow. The treats order I placed the same day was here on monday. Both orders placed on thursday. The '77 order was shipped UPS ground and treats usually ships USPS, so maybe benji is sleeping with the post master general or something. GO TREATS!!!!!! FUCK 77, unless treats is out of what I need and I will take the chance with 1977 Mopeds.
