Why not? I saw the 50cc one at the dealer, it's a 30mph bike.

I think they're cool as helll, but I'd only get one so I could make it dangeruosly fast. Yup, no peds for reals. I think you can get them with pedals though can't you? I THINK it's an option, but not for sure.

From everything I read about those when they first came out, there is no pedal option.  And they're not German anymore.  They're made in Taiwan or something.  Sweet design though.  I like the monoshock with the exhaust under the seat.

Oh yeah, and they're 4 stroke.  Eeew.

They're like $2k or more, but there's a cheaper version that is called the exoskeleton, there's ton's of them on craigslist and ebay for cheaper from people who bought them then realized they had made a horrible mistake.

I'd only settel for real German engineering, it's what almost won them a coupla wars.

From reading the reviews on moped army, it sounds like the 49cc one is just too heavy and slow to be fun.  And the jist I got was that the quality was still pretty good, despite being non-german.  I don't think I've read anything about the 125cc version...but that's even less of a moped.
