uh, I did that, and there was nothing more ridiculous to me than finding the weight of the earth because I didn't care how much the earth weighed.  I care how much this clutch shoe weighs.

Battery and whatever.
« on: July 29, 2010, 12:44:12 PM »

Hey, just got back into town. My goddamned Urbie won't start, none of the electrics (lights, horn, signals) seem to be coming on, I checked all the wiring i could easily get to and it looked fine, checked my fuse, it was fine, think my battery may be dead, how the hell to i charge it?

I've already tried jamming a stick in it, nothing happened.

Did you use the right kind of stick?

If it's 12v, use this:
http://www.harborfreight.com/automotive-motorcycle/battery/automatic-battery-float-charger-42292.html

If it's 6v, find the same thing for 6v.

You still getting spark? take the plug out, put it in the boot, hold it against a good ground (like the engine head), and kick it over. Did you see a nice blue spark? Did you shock the shit out of yrself? If you get spark the bike should run without the battery. (I think).
