Missouri Moped Collective.
« on: June 01, 2010, 01:49:42 AM »

Let's dissolve all of our gangs and just do it as a state wide collective.

Missouri is gonna have to annex Kansas.

No, you still can't have slaves.

Isn't this kinda what's happening already? Maybe all that's in order is to rebrand the website?

midwest moped collective is too broad.

I like Mo-Kan, but there are already a lot of things that use that name -- maybe even a dirtbike club or something? I dunno. I still like it.

I wouldn't mind being lumped in with Missouri though.

And really, we should be the ones telling you that you can't still have slaves. Kansas was a free state.

Psh, MO was slave back before it was cool in 1821.  Goddamn KS scenesters jumped on the "free" bandwagon 40 years later.

Hell, the way this thread is going we're going to end up riding mopeds while wearing white sheets.

And didn't Kansas try to be a slave state only to FAIL.  And a failure at slavery... isn't that kind of like 'sucking at being ignorant'?

Not in Lawrence we didn't. We were the stronghold of the free state/anti-slavery movement. I went to Lawrence Free State High School. There's a restaurant downtown called Free State Brewery. We're Free State to the BONE.

i brought this up a while back, i think that we as a whole we could be much more effective. but i disagree because individual groups have their own styles and such, i would get kicked out too if we had a huge crew.  i agree with a collective maybe like our own MA, i mean cmon we all know small crews all over the US just like us who arent recognized by MA. im sure they would love to be involved and recognized. maybe we could look into having a 2 state, 4 crew rally next year and make it as large as possible. soooo many people would come

We give all the groups on here an icon... as long as they don't have an icon on MA. Hah.  Its like some Robin Hood action.  Looking out for the little man.

You got two choices Spencer: Missouri or Kansas.  Illinois need not apply.

"Illinois" is French for "Superior Elitists."
"Missouri" is dutch for "redneck central"

You're right, no rednecks anywhere in southern Illinois.  Everyone drives italian supercars and sips Dom Perignon It's the state motto.

"Kansas" is Cherokee for "Better than Missouri and Illinois"

Is there any way to make the fist shaped like Missouri?

Yeah! Beez is right...

Let's go back and talk more about this.

Make one large collective? Collective with no other gangs? Collective with our current gangs?

id say if anything dont call it anything about the midwest or no coasts or whatever, because that would limit who all can be involved. im down for a collective, it would be sweet to represent 2 gangs kinda

I like the idea of a collective with our current gangs, obviously. I don't think we should rule out including other gangs, but I don't know how many more gangs in KS or MO might pop up. If we put Missouri in the name, then it might be weird for any other gangs that ever show up over here. So I like the more inclusive "No Coast" or "Mid Coast." Or we're all in UTM Zone 15N....  But yeah, then it does make it less inclusive. Do we really want gangs from like, Maine or Florida or Arizona though? The thing I really love about this site and all of you is that I know you and I've met all of you in person and I think you're all rad. The farther away other gangs are, the less likely we are to establish that kind of rapport with them, and I think we lose something in that. I don't want to make a Moped Army rival, and I think the best way to do that is to keep it regional.

And no unicorns. The Tom Cruisers already have a unicorn as their logo, and we don't want to make it look like we're stealing their idea.
