Electric bikes
« on: April 30, 2010, 03:42:05 PM »

Do you think any of the races would allow an electric bike in them?  Some sort of MOD class I am sure.  We have a good group of people interested in racing some electrics, but we haven't reached critical mass yet.  Tagging along with another small bike group would be a good way to get the scene started I think.

you'd probably have to contact some of the people that are actually putting the races together. Contact Gabe or Nate from the Bandits. I'm not scared of electrics, we should drag race!

A well built electric bike would SMOKE a well built gas powered bike in a drag!

also, currently the fastest of all machines are gas powered, i don't think electric has anything that"s THE fastest.

electric does have a long way to go.  But on a short track it could be very competitive. I will do some digging and see what I can come up with.
