The Express lives?
« on: January 19, 2010, 09:58:04 AM »

So I hear the green express is up and running....
What did it need and what carb are you guys running? I'm ready to get mine up and running with some scooter help. I may even bring it down to Walter's Sunday.....

I think I must be kryptonite to that thing.  It'll never run right while I'm near it.  But yeah, Scooter is magical!  Running the stock carb, Tracy.  If I heard right, all it needed was a new plug to get it going again.  We replaced the cylinder and piston last year--that was the reason all along it wasn't running right. (That'll teach me to run without an air filter for two months.)

yeah, it was rockin too! maddmatt's can shaker and gymme's parts washer did the trick on the stock carb. i had to make a couple special parts to clog the choke cable hole.

Hmmm... so if we don't have a stock carb ya think we can still get her to run? Pretty sure there was spark... wait, if I remember it also has a stock hobbit head and a jammi pipe.... this makes it a little more of a challenge....

I've seen two dudes on an Express before. "Badass" isn't quite the term I would have picked, but...
