Swinger tanks for 75-100 bucks seems like a deal to me.

I don't think I've ever had a good experience with them. The Dellorto Direct fiasco is another story altogether. Hell, even just opening a ticket for items that are out of stock seems to be beyond them.

But I'm sure you've never had a problem with 1977.

I've never bought anything from them... but yes from what I hear they dont have their shit together. However they do have parts that people want and if the price is right I would probably take my chances on buying something.

Hey, I can put a pic of a part people want on a website and have them send monies to my paypals for it, then never send it.

That's what they do.  It ain't special.  Most people/places call that a "scam".

Honestly, I've ordered from them twice, and shipping was slightly longer than treats. The first time I ordered they screwed up and forgot to pack my air filter, I called them, the sent another one out and I got it in like 3 days. meh. I have no complaints, but I would have complaints if I was Mike.

PS. Mo peds Mo pussy is gross. and wrong.

I always thought that their prices were high (although they've come down now that treats has become a major competitor), and that their shipping was outrageous ($8 to ship a gasket?!) I have had orders take forever to get to me, and they have messed them up (I wasn't bothered enough to call them about it). If they had something I really wanted at a price I liked, I would order from them again. But they're definitely not the first place I would check.

Everyone on MA says you gotta call them.  And they themselves say this too, and say they will not answer e-mail because they want to have a "more personal experience with their customers" or some shit.  Well, twice I had to e-mail and call when they fucked up.  Both times they never got back to me via either form of communication.  Both times I had to post on MA to bitch about them, and when I did I got Dan to call me within like 30 minutes.

If you're running an internet company that can't handle e-mails, thats the first red flag.

If you consistently fuck up and don't talk to people until they call you out in public, that's another bigg'un.

They still owe me $80 for a case boring job I paid for over a year ago.  I don't need it now, and have e-mailed them 3 times asking if I can just get refunded or get store credit.  No response.  Gonna have to call, get ignored, then post on MA again...

I bought ONE jet from them, no probs, took a day longer than expected. Shipping was too high.

I prefer Treats cuz I can ask "Hey, man, should I buy this when I already have this?" And they're totally honest "Fuck no! Keep the awesome thing you have and don't buy this thing from us, seriously, you'll be happier." Now THAT is service.
