There are people commenting on there saying mopeds/scooters/bicycles should be outlawed.  Rip them a new one.

I'm sure the article means that a scooterist, not a moped, got hit, but we've got to feel for them.

Wow I read the comments. Some people are soo dense, they cant see how other people may use a scooter/moped to get around town.

It wouldnt be so unsafe if bastards like them didnt drive 6000lb cars and trucks. Physics still applies even if your a dumbass in a Escalade!!!

Sounds like a lot of work.  Lets just gear our bikes for all torque and ride over them.
