fixit 3/1
« on: March 02, 2009, 10:44:51 AM »

Yet another cold fixit day, dang. I rolled out at 10 and lit the garage stove. Scooter showed at 11:30, and you guys who weren't here , won't believe what he had built. I hate that I didn't immediately take a picture,,I'll get one and post it for a "guess what it was"
Jonathan showed up , and we started tinkering. then Mike, (Annie's in NY)..he rolled the Kitted swinger into the garage and only looked at it occasionally all day. Then,
Tom, with, the Pinto project,,,repositioning the tank, and working the batavius seat into it all..
. Ben and His Friend Dan,,,grease to their elbows changing the re sprocket on the Tomos.  Beth, fixin a flat,,, Ryne rode a bicycle over for a visit.. Jimmy brought his hobbit project,, Myke jetting and rejetting the magnum, the adjusting then shifter on his scooter.,Declan came by for awhile,,,we almost made a ciao, for hobbit trade...
I showed off my latest, a brown motron,,,actually got it to pop on starting fluid.
Had a great potluck Dinner,,,Tracy had made a spagetti squash cassarole, there was lagsana , mac and cheese, artichoke dish, potabello mushroom dish,, and some weird candy thing that Myke brought,,, I ate 4.
It was a great time, as usual, hopefully next week it'll get outta the 20's

new rule for shaner: don't accept passengers when you only have a solo seat.

lamest wreck EVER! my left leg is all sorts of pretty colors, and doesn't want to climb stairs or bend so much, despite the right leg's enthusiasm.

oh, and i shattered the screen on my phone, so i can't get text messages currently.

fail...

bike is fine, just scratched the mirror. we fell over when i was trying to give my roomie a lift home on the puch. jamie sprained his wrist and my left leg took the weight of jamie and the bike. the book rack is not meant for passengers! duhhh... :/

but we got up and made it home fine. then the next morning i realized my leg hurt, a lot.

thank you as always for your compassion, mark. it's not my fault people dont know how to balance on a bookrack while holding a 12-pack of beer! i no have digicam, so picture a bowl of pea soup with blueberries floating in it.

The best crashes always involve beer.  Did he drop it?  I didn't when I crashed with beer, too precious of cargo!
