Probably not man, I mean to complete the process you're goin to need your real license.

If I'm not mistaken, the way the law is written, you need a driver's license.  You could argue that a motorcycle license should count in court, but the law isn't on your side.

A motorcycle permit is just a piece of paper that goes along with your regular license anyways right?

False, a motorcylce permit is an actual i.d that looks identical-ish to your license and costs 20$ is good for 6months and comes with several age based restrictions when it comes to actually riding a motorcycle. Written test only when getting your permit. Juvi might as well do it at the same time as when getting his regular license.

So if you have a license and you get a permit does that mean you get a separate card? Or can you get a permit endorsement on your regular license?

or just go get that and take it to court, saying, I don't have a car....I ride a ped....leave me alone...

yeah, you get to carry around 2 id's. when you get your Motorcylce license, they give you a "M" endorsment on your regular license
